name explanation
APPLE-: The colour of his pelt reminded his father of the inside of an apple.
-FROST: Was previously -heart, in honour for his set morals and loyalty to the warrior code. He requested his name be changed to Applefrost, in memory of his fallen mate, Frostblossom, who died after a battle.

appearance
Large fluffy ginger dilute tom with some minor scars on muzzle.
personality
He is gruff, and generally quite quiet. He may seem pretty cold and uncaring, but once you get to know him it's obvious that he's a very caring and loving cat.
Skills
He is an excellent fighter, and a very strong cat. He uses his size against his opponents in combat, but his large size makes him less agile.
history
Applefrost had a rather average life. He never excelled at anything during his apprenticeship, nor did he lack in any expected skills. He passed through his warrior's assessment with ease, and was named Appleheart in honour of his set morals and dedication to the warrior code. Not long after becoming a warrior, he had a mate, Frostblossom. To him, she was the most beautiful and amazing cat in the world, and would have done anything for her. She bore two litters of kits from him before she died. Her death was caused by a horribly infected bite just above the base of her tail from a Shadowclan warrior during a battle over some stolen prey.
It took him a while to get over her death, and he requested his name be changed to Applefrost in her memory. He can now speak of her without feeling much sorrow.
He is older and skilled cat, with lots of patience. This makes him a popular choice when choosing mentors for apprentices. He tends to 'click' with most apprentices quite easily.

FRIENDS: Just from looking at him, you don't get a friendly vibe. He often has an upset face or body language, but he is actually doing quite fine. He is very friendly, but is not the best with keeping in touch with cats, even if they are in his clan. He also has an issue with remembering names.
ENEMIES: He's hard to hate, and hard to make him hate you. A way that you can get to him though is to break the warrior code to a great extent.
RELATIONSHIPS: After Frostblossom died, he thought he'd never be able to love another cat again, but his belief proved to be wrong as the moons passed by.
