name explanation
HALF-: When Halfstar was a kit, the black marking on his tail and lover hind legs were also along his back and stomach, covering his lower half. However as he aged, the dark colour retreated down his body, leaving him mostly white.
-HEART: Given this name for his brave nature, but also for his gentle aura and strong idea of morals and protection of the warrior code and all that follow it.

appearance
Halfstar is a mostly white tom with mustard yellow eyes. His tail and lower back legs are covered in black, the back of his front left paw is also black, however it is smaller and less noticeable. He has a smaller tail than other cats, as if it has been cut off midway.
personality
Halfstar walks around his own camp and other territories with his head held high, silently expressing his authority and power. However behind closed doors he is a welcoming individual with a warm heart, especially when around Queens and their kits. Some may say he has a soft spot for kits, keeping a close eye on their activity.
Skills
Halfstar has perfected the art of tree climbing and hiding in what his environment gives him. However he rarely uses this ability, using it only when necessary.
He sometimes needs others to help calm him down, as his anger and feel of power can sometimes get ahead of him, however this is a rare occurrence.
Halfstar can be very convincing, helping him keep a calm tone and calm mind in arguments and heated situations.

history
As a kit, Halfstar/Halfkit was a playful tom, however the Queens of the Nursery often told him to stop being so rough, causing him to instead decide to sit in the shadows, avoiding playing at all.
As an apprentice, Halfstar/Halfpaw spent most of his time climbing and making his way over and under parts of the territory, much to his mentor's annoyance in the early days. However when he applied this skill to hunting, he became quieter with his manoeuvres and gained his mentor's praise.
As a warrior, Halfstar/Halfheart spent a large amount of time watching the kits play outside the Nursery, missing the time he was younger, and regretting not being gentle with his games. He dreamed of having kits of his own, but instead set his sights on protecting his clanmates and partolling, to ensure the protection of the camp and all inside it.
Halfstar/Halfheart was made deputy as the previous leader saw his dedication to patrols and his focus on clan safety. He was always on top of making patrols, very rarely making mistakes or mixing them up.
