name explanation
BRACKEN-: For his ginger coat.
-LEAF: For his proficiency proved in his rank. It may also point towards his tabby coat or his growth from apprentice to full medicine cat.

appearance
His is a thin tom, almost bearing likeness to a collection of twigs wrapped in a sleek and oily coat, befitting his clan's general appearance. His head is very pointed, oblong, and stream-lined, with dull amber eyes to accent, round and deep-set and hooded with an almost tired appearance. His noted to not be very wide, with high shoulders and an inward way of carrying himself, however proud he stands. Brackenleaf is generally a very clean tom, although his left ear has a wide 'v' cut out of it.
personality
He is generally a collected tom, sporting pride in his strut and he is very ignorant to his own weaknesses. He believes that no cat should be stuck doing nothing and that everyone should have a job- often assigning trivial tasks to those who seem to have none. He is interested in cross-clan dealings, considering himself a bit of a diplomat.
Skills
Brackenleaf excels in his rank, wasting few herbs in his paws and he sports the will to work with many hopeless cases, often resulting in his own failure and feeling of recklessness. He is not a very organized cat and his warrior skills are dismal at best.
history
Brackenleaf was born into RiverClan to a proud mother, being apart of a relatively large litter he commonly fought for attention. Later, he sought his own path under the clan's current medicine cat- and this earned him the attention he greatly desired, his parents showered him in love and approval as he was named the Medicine Cat Apprentice. Though he got what he wanted his siblings grew uneasy with the attention given to him*. After moons of hard work and a long period of uncertainty and harsh realization his mentor died- prematurely. While Brackenpaw could handle himself there was still work to be done and knowledge to be earned. He spent some time training with another clan's Medicine Cat before earning his full title. He has since been much happier, enjoying the company of his ageing parents and still he stands on uneven footing with his numerous brothers and sisters.

FRIENDS: Brackenleaf is very close to his friends, picking their sides almost blindly. He is almost misleadingly affectionate towards these cats and often tries to put himself with them- even harboring a little bit a jealousy in certain areas.
ENEMIES: He does not like those who do not receive his suggestions or demands- he doesn't like cats who are excessively shy or lazy; often targetting them for low duties- lame duties.
RELATIONSHIPS: Brackenleaf often finds trouble with relationships in his friends- sharing a closeness some might relate to mates; while his code dictates otherwise. Due to past mistakes he does wish for a significant other but prefers to share little to no thought on the subject as he may not rest with another.
