HAIL-:   His pelt is the colour of hale pebbles.

-FIRE: He strives to serve his clan in every possible way.  He was given this suffix to remind him never to lose his fiery loyalty. 

Hailfire is a large tom with a long torso. He has thick muscle laced legs and paws to match. His tail is of average length, thin and bony. He has an angular face with large, nicked ears, pale golden eyes and long silvery whiskers. His nose is a light pink, along with the inside of his ears and pads of his paws. He has a short white pelt, that stays plastered to his body, showing off every scar and muscle beneath.

Hailfire is a proud tom, whose loyalty lays strictly with Windclan. He isn't fond of interacting with the other clans other than gatherings where he is at least civil. He cares greatly for his clanmates and loves to just be a help wherever he can, for his clans well being means very much to him.  Hailfire  is patient and cool tempered, though he was not always that way.  The tom can seem a bit  tense at times, especially with the hard times that plague the cats.

Hailfire is swift and poised with every movement while out on the moors. With his graceful movements and good strength, the tom is better at fighting than most in the clear territory. He is a swift runner to be sure, but not like some of his clanmates.  While being a good fighter, Hailfire only fights when nessasary.  He doesn't agree with unneeded bloodshed. He is smart and likes to think out his options before he acts.

Hailkit was a happy and energetic kit, whom was content with only the company of his littermate, Frostkit. The two were 'two peas in a pod' as twolegs might say. They did everything together. So, when his sister got sick and never fully recovered enough to start apprentice duties, he was crushed. He trained twice as hard, both for him and for her and visited her every day no matter how brief it had to be. Hailpaw brought her freshkill, groomed her pelt and just spent time with her. They both knew she would join Starclan soon, and Frostpaw (she was far too old to be called Frostkit) wasn't scared, though Hailpaw certainly was. When it was finally time to revive his warrior name, he requested that Frostpaw did too. So, both cats revived their names of, Hailfire and Frostberry. Soon thereafter Frostberry died when her health took a plunge for the worst and wasn't strong enough to survive. Hailfire grieved for a long while before he got over it and too this day he longs to have to one thing his sister wanted in this life: a mate and kits.
