name explanation
SOOT-: Named for the color of her points, Sootface stood out from the rest of her siblings. It is unknown how she was born a seal point, it is rumored one of her ancestors was once a kittypet.

appearance
Sootface is sleek and slender, perfect for swimming in rivers and catching fish. She is agile as well as flexible. Her chocolate body is paired with dark brown, almost black, legs, tail, and face. Her tail, if caught in the sunlight, is revealed to have darker rings such as a tabby cat. As well as that, her tail tip is sharp and not round, and often curls in the shape of a question mark (IE: ?).
Her brilliant blue eyes stand out against her dark body, intimidating some cats.
personality
Although she seems cold, Sootface is actually very warm and accepting, especially of new apprentices. She is always willing to take on another if time allows for it, and steps in when a warrior cannot train that day. Her motherly instincts are strong and she strives for every apprentice to become a warrior. She is proud and strong-willed, little can take her down. Sootface is insanely loyal to her clan and will die for any one of its members.
She firmly believes mistakes happen. As long as the cat learns from that mistake, she forgives them.

Sootface grew up with two brothers, both of whom became warriors before she did. One drowned in the river, having boasted about his ability to swim better than she while the other died of sickness during a hot summer.
Once a warrior, she took on an apprentice and was proud when they became a warrior themselves. Since then, she has mentored two others, one before she was deputy and one after.
